Life goes on

Well here back again. Wanted to post some of the things we have done around Lincoln City,Or

Here I am on the beach. From desert to beach life is good!!

Here is the bird that I want to see here. He or she is so cute. It is a Tufted Puffin they are nesting on Haystack Rock where we are going.

On Tuesday going to meet with the Dawn with fish and wildlife to get our boots and rain coats to work on the beach with. She is in Newport,Or and we will be in Cannon Beach.
I will try to post pictures later. We do not start till May 6th

Ok trying this again. We are in Oregon now and it has been nice and raining some days. Have seen lots of things. We will be up at Cannon Beach on May 1 so have more to see before that.

Had to put my Bitter on here from Imperial.

These were the people that we volunteer with last winter. Three of us couples are coming back. The brown shirt is Nate who was a great refuge manager. The couples on both sides of us are coming back.
Well enough for the first time in ages..

On the Road

Well we are left Wy almost a week ago. It was a great place to volunteer and they gave us some great things. Will put them on later when we get down to Yuma,Az for they are put away safe.

We have been to Fossil Butte in Wy. Had good walking spots there
Then drove over to Craters of the Moon in Id.
Today we were in Hells Cayon. Great spot.
Now all I have to do is put pictures on here.

We are going to stay here in Id till Sunday. Need to just slow down and do some wash. Hope that I can get the pictures here.

Wyoming fun

Hello just wanted to update some here. We have been at Wy Territory Prison in Laramie,Wy.  It is a great place to be in summer. We do tours and play convicts in the prison. It has been a fun summer and the time has gone by too fast.

Here we are at Butch Cassidy Day.  As I said it has been fun here and if you like to do tours and make brooms this is the place.  Yes I said brooms. In 1892 the prisoners had a factor to make brooms in. they made 720 brooms a day with only 20 to 25 guys.

Where we are now

I started this blog but don't write much here.  When I sit down to do it my mind goes blank. So will try to keep it up somehow. 
We are at Cape Romain NWR in SC got here 2 weeks ago and will be here till the middle of April.  We are parked by the Bull's Island Sound. It is 826 steps to the end of the pier.
Have to figure how to get pictures here.

Quiet Day

We spent a quiet day at home. We were site seeing the last two days.  The Cumberland Falls were great.

Day off

Today was our day off...didn't do much just went to St Mary's to go to Walmart for refill on meds.  Of couse you can not get out of there without things you never knew you needed.  We did get a new foam mattress for our bed.

Also cleaned out the trailer last week of the clothes we didn't even know we had and took them to Goodwill..

A quiet day.

We were off today and had a nice long walk ...did not see much ..been trying to get a good picture of the fox squirrel that is here on the refuge.

I knew about this site and been reading some here but never put one on here..I am finally here ... so now I have to say something...

Well we are here at Okie National Wildlife Refuge here in Ga and having a great time...many gators here and the gorphor tortiose....
